1. What is Form INC - 20?
Form INC - 20 is related to Initamation to the Registrar of revocation or surrender of a license issued under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 as per the provision of section 8 (4) and 8 (6) & rule 23 of the Companies Incorporation Rules, 2014. The license granted to a company under section 8 can be revoked by the central government or if the company itself wants to surrender its license, an intimation of such revocation shall be provided to the registrar by form No. INC- 20.
2. Why is it Important?
It is important while surrendering the License granted to the company under section 8, while filling this form one should ensure that form is not defaulting in filing annual returns and financial statements for any year.
