will to be registered? to be on stamp paper? witness have to go registrar office

I want to make my will. I can write it on plane paper, sign and get signature of two witness or must have to register in registrar office? If yes then can it be on plane white paper for registration? Can my wife be a witness for my son being the beneficiary? A lawyer is required or I can approach directly to registrar?

No stamp.paper is required, surely you can do it yourself .
Will is effective only after persons death and then if any error found could not be rectified, the wish of the deceased may not materialise therefore a lawyer is required to avoid errors .
