minimum area of salable agricultural land in Karnataka
In 2008, a group of friends purchased 3 acres of land and divided it into 28 cents and 33 cents plots and registered them separately in their respective names in sub-registrar office. I registered in my name 28 cents. Now, in year 2020, in order to convert 3 acres of land into NA, for the sake to have an approach road, all friends decided to make a 40 feet road in the middle of 3 acre land and each one of the friends gave away 5.75 cents of land and registered it in sub-registrar office in the name of Governor of Karnataka. Now I am left with 22.25 cents of agricultural land. My questions are as under :
1) Can I sell my 22.25 cents of agricultural land ?
2) Can I convert it into NA only my 22.25 cents of agricultural land ? (others do not want to convert their lands into NA as of now)
3) Red zone, green zone, yellow zone : How to know in which zone my land belongs to ?
4) If all the above cannot be done, how to monetize my land as I am in dire straits now.
