I had filed a case against builder in Kalyan - Thane as there was no promising progress in the construction and agreed possession date couldn't have been met . As per RERA order , for delayed possession Builder has paid me interest payment ( 9.65 % per annum on total payment made till last year ) in current year 2022. This 9.65 % was calculated on the X amount i had paid till the execution date of RERA order. And as per RERA , i am suppose to get this interest payment t till I get a possession of my flat. Within this year, I have made a additional payment of around 5 lacs as per agreement and progress of construction. I want to know if i am eligible to get interest payment on the whole amount that i have paid ( including 5 lacs paid in 2022 ) or its just the previous amount at the time of filing the case and execution of RERA order . Builder is denying to pay any additional interest on the payments made after the RERA order was passed.
