I wanted to buy an agricultural land in Karjat, Maharashtra, India of 20 gunthas

I wanted to buy an agricultural land in Karjat, Maharashtra, India of 20 gunthas and I'm a non-farmer and I don't possess the farmers card needed. I have been told that I can obtain the card by showing that I'm a farmer and own a property in Rajasthan and the land the company is offering me is an unclaimed land. I wanted to know if this would be a legal approach. And also I had concerns regarding construction. I'm planning to erect a temporary structure on the land to stay but it'll not be a fixed construction of RCC. That will occupy around 1000 sq ft of land out of my 20,000 sq ft land and the rest will be put to use for crops, poultry, etc. Please suggest the legal drawback to this
