Hindu Succession Act 2005

Hello. My father died in 1996 without will. He had a son and daughter. Daughter died in 2003, will she and her son Will get part in my property? His son is giving me mental torture at age of 66 by sending notice again and again, please clarify my rights in this case

Presuming you are a hindu family and you are two sibling. Once your father died interstate the ancestral property devolved on you and your sister and your mother equally if she was alive at that point of time. in such case the son of your sister is having the right over the property.

if the daughter has died before the father, her legal heirs cannot claim a share in the property.

No daughter didn't died before father but she died before amendment in tha act came so will it be applied to it or not?
