do my mother have a right in her ancestrol property

my mother was born in 1978 and married in 1992. she has 2 sisters and 1 brother. my grand father had 8 ares of agricultural land . after his death in2008 land was on my grand mothers name. recently she transferred 4 acres of land to my uncle with out our knowledge and got pass book also. my grand mother don't want to share any land to her daughters. can my mother cancel land registration.? is my mother eligible for property share., how much land can be received as her share?. can i file a suit on behalf of my mother. we are from telangana.

In 2008 when the land was being transferred to grandmother why any objection wasn’t raised ?

A long time has elapsed but transfer to grandmother should be challenged .
