can i purchase agricultral land from my sister in the name of my wife

there is an agricultral land in my village comprising of 52 kattha out of it 15 kattha is in the name of my sister which at the time of her marriage in 1975 my father transferred in the name of her. the rest is still in my fathers name and no partion has been done of it. we are 6 brothers. if i purchase this land from my sister now and get it registered in the name of my wife. will my brothers have a claim in it in future. and out the remaining 52-15=37 kattha will we brothers have a equal share i.e. 37/6 =6 kattha per person.?

Okay as the law of bengal and our hindu succession act as applicable here you can buy the land but its better you get all the documents checked by a lawyer to tell you the exact nature of things as it stands and then he or she can guide you. As far as equal partition among your brothers it might include not only your brother but also your sister. Contact a lawyer or you may contact me to let me find out all aspect correctly and advice you accordingly. My contact - 9013429126
