Farm Laws Will Be Repealed In Upcoming Parliament Session, Says PM Modi

Keeping Pets Can't Be Banned In Residential Areas

Kerala HC observed that clauses in by-laws of the residential associations & management that ban owners & tenants from keeping pet animals of their choice in their apartments are “illegal & unconstitutional”. Court while hearing a plea of PFA questioning such provisions, said, “Our coastal state, which announces itself to be the ‘god’s own country, cannot be seen denying just privileges to its animal inhabitants.”

Cruise Drugs Case: HC Rejects Pre-Arrest Bail Plea of Sam D'Souza

The Bombay high court rejected an application seeking pre-arrest bail filed by Samville D’Souza, whose name had cropped up in connection with allegations of pay-off in the case of a drug seizure in which Aryan Khan was arrested. A vacation bench of Justice S P Tavade heard D’Souza’s plea. Rejecting it, the judge noted that the applicant should have first approached the sessions court.
