What is Indian Legal view on "Non-Compete Clause". Context is Organisation

Today every contract has a non compete clause. 1. What's the Indian Legal system view on this clause? 2. How to mitigate? 3. What's the amount of damage this clause can have on a company?

Hi, Non-compete restrictions are allowed during the time the incumbent is in the employment of the Company and maximum of 2 years thereafter. A robust clause in the agreement takes care of horrors of competing business.
