i have own plat 1rk @virar east, i want some internal alteration in my flat 1. shifted kitchen to bathroom, 2. toilet & bathroom combined ,3. convert existing kitchen in to bedroom ,,kindly advice me is it legally allow as per co-op society bylaws? thank u

As per the Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Society Bye laws it is clearly stated that (a) No member shall, without the previous permission of the committee in writing, make any additions or alterations in his flat. (b) The member, desirous of making any additions or alterations in his flat, shall make an application to the Secretary of the Society, giving all the required particulars. So if your society gives you permission for alterations then there is no issue otherwise your society can file a complaint against you
