General Advice

I want to start a financial advisory firm but i dont have a relevant degree.

I am looking to start a financial advisory fir but i dont have a relevant degree for that. Can i still start it? Or do i need to partner with someone who has a relevant degree? Or simply will it work if i hire someone with a relevant degree? It will save my firm's share Please suggest me a best way out.

From legal standpoint, to be an entrepreneur and start your business, you do not require a degree. For instance, a shoe brand owner may need to know how to run a business but not how to manufacture shoes. Having said that, in cases where your services fall under specific professional categories you may need to be a licensed professional, like a chartered accountant (CA) firm may need to be owned by a CA and have specific licences issued by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. More clarity on what you have in mind, may help assist you further.
