General Advice

Can Police use Digilocker legally to fetch Aadhaar data with user consent OTP?

I am a startup. Currently, I am developing a Saas application for the State Police. Functionality-wise, Police liked my SaaS application. They said they can purchase my SaaS application subject to legal clearance. In my application, I am using Digilocker services to fetch Aadhaar information with user consent (OTP). Now the Police are quite skeptical that fetching the aadhaar information of a user is not allowed for Police. If I provide them some proof that Police can use Digilocker services to fetch aadhaar details with user consent. They can purchase my software. I see many private companies are using Digilocker services to fetch aadhaar information with user consent? What are the best ways where I can prove Police that Police can legally use this? I got one suggestion as to filing an RTI, an RTI reply can act as valid proof. Can anyone suggest me more alternatives?
