Transport allowance related

Due to lockdown I was stuck at my hometown for two months (April & May 2020) and couldn't attend office physically. However, I was rendering my services as 'Work from Home'. Now they have deducted two month transport allowance for those two months. However, it is not my fault that I cant attend office physically due to nation wide lockdown and travel restrictions. Further, others were attending office only on call and not regularly. Further, I was at home but I was also incurring expenses like electricity, internet, etc. for staying at home and working from home. Is there a provision where I can claim this transport allowance as this a special case beyond my control.
