Sir, I am an ex-serviceman. I joined Indian Overseas Bank as a clerk on 15th Oct 2012 after clearing IBPS exam. Presently working in Coimbatore. This is regarding Graduation increment. I completed my MA from Annamalai University through Open University system. On joining IOB my salary was fixed as a graduate considering my MA (Open University System). Later during 2015, when my salary was re-fixed as an ex-serviceman, the graduation increment part was removed from my salary and IOB recovered the graduation increment given to me till then. I wrote to IOB through various channels like rti, pg portal ect. IOB is considering Open University PG for graduation increment vide their reply to my rti application. But IOB replied that as per IBA guidelines, a open University pg holder has to produce a certificate from the university that I have attended pre-training program conducted by University or passed entrance exam. But in 1993 when I joined pg degree there was no such exams. The eligibility was only completion of 25 years of age. So I joined and completed my pg. Now IOB is refering IBA circular and gave no other reply. Can this be approached legally
