Punishment regarding fraud or plagiarism by ex-employee

I am a fashion Designer, and I was working for a startup but 21 days back I left my job. So while working there few designs which were copied from another sources. And now after 21 of my leaving the company, my boss found out about it and wants to take legal action against me. I worked in the company for 2 months and 19days. And my salary was 28000/month. But they are saying they will charge around 1.5 lakh from me as penalty. But in design if you notice many brands copy other brands design. I have copied design sketch from Pinterest source and from any brand. And my only motive behind this was to look for trendy wear and this is what is done by mostly all the brand. But they are not ready to listen anything and want to take legal action against me. So I want to know is there anything I can do to escape this process. And I was on the probation period on that time.
