non payment of salary post resignation and mental harassment

I'm a research scientist who'd been working with a start-up for over 9 months. There was regular breach in contract over several different matter, incorrect accusations to guilt my staff and at times, even me to work more than stipulated hours, constant denial of work presented despite solid and documented proof. Series of such events on a daily basis left me no option but to quit. For the month before quitting (June), I was under medical attention for a week due to extreme sickness. They made me work even in that condition and also deducted my pay for the same. Not just that, they even withheld the pay until 15 days after payday to worsen the situation. I quit working with them by July end and offered to serve notice working from home (as financial security with the company had been dicey and I lived away from my home state in a rented studio apartment. They denied WFH and even withheld my dues. Since then, there's no response from their end about the payment of FNF. What could I possibly do next?

Either serve them a legal notice stating your claims and if they don't comply with your notice then you may file a summary suit against them but that will require you to take follow up of such case and spending such amount in the legal case and facing counter responses so see if you are ready to face this then you may proceed legally or otherwise you may just forget the bad experience at previous work place and move ahead and be cautious of the payment and work conditions before taking up any new job elsewhere. It's just not a matter of non-payment of dues but constant denial of respect in workplace and humiliation. I lost all my staff because of the CEO's behaviour. The turnover of employees has been an issue due to lack of decent behaviour and constant denial of work presented by everyone. Also, they've been using my picture on their e-commerce website without my approval.
