Employment and Labour Laws

Misleading and incomplete information at the time of recruitment.

I am Harjeet K Nanda and recently joined a well-known Bpo in Thane. I was verbally informed that I will have to work for evening & night shifts i.e it may be 6:30 or 10:00pm for voice process and will be provided with home pick & home drop, whereby took written consent for split shifts and rotation shifts. When I questioned HR about the same he advised if business required you may have to sometimes, however reconfirmed my timing would as stated and verbally discussed. On 2nd day I was handed over to TL who informed me that I will have to come for 12:30pm shift for training and if required they may ask me to change time later for 12:30pm, and was back office work which has no calling requirements and adviced I should be flexible working for any shift. Now 12:30pm shift does have home pick. I requested TL, HR and Employee engagement team member to put me back to calling process which has home pick and drop to which they denied reminding me of the concent I singed on offer letter. On further request they stated they have no other option but I will have to quit the job and as per offer letter I'm supposed to render 15 days notice period or pay them accordingly. Please suggest
