Employment and Labour Laws

Recently I had resigned and completed my notice period of 3 mts on 30th Oct 21. During my employment company had asked me to sign an employee agreement to continue services with the company so I had signed it as I had no option. In the agreement they have mentioned many points that were irrelevant and the company did not even provide me with the copy of the agreement. There is a clause in the agreement that restricts me from joining any competitive business or working with companies that offer the same type of services that they provide. The agreement period was for 3 years, however they had also added a clause where it states that few of the points in the agreement shall continue for a period of 3 years even after the agreement is terminated of expired. The agreement that I signed expired on Dec 2019 however now during my revealing the company is asking me to sign a undertaking that states I accept that the few points in the original agreement will continue for a period of three years. They also said that they cannot complete my exit formalities until I sign this undertaking agreement. Please advice if this is legal?
