IT company demanding fine of 2 lakhs to give reliving letter.

I absconded from an IT company in June 2013 during my bond period. The bond amount was two lakhs and bond was due to end in 3 months. I now require the relieving letter and but the company is demanding 2 lakhs rupees as fine because I breached the contract, to give me the relieving letter. Also they say that it would be mentioned in the relieving letter that mine was not a smooth exit and I had behavioural issues. What legal options do I have ? Kindly suggest. Regards
