Dear Sir,
Law gives the room for strike and lockout to place in the industry. But both must be peaceful and must fulfil the conditions of the Industrial dispute act, 1947. As per law lockout cannot be undertaken without giving law specified stipulated timelines. If it takes place then its a non compliances on the part of company and stringent action can be taken against the management of the company.
