Can Employees be terminated if he asks leave on 2nd Oct.?

We had leave on 2nd Oct, 2019. But manager asked us to come on 2nd Oct, 2019, which he informed us on 1st Oct, 2019 by 4pm. As i had to shift my room on 2nd Oct, I told my manager i wont be able to come and also i mail for leave request, but on that the manager directly told if you will not be coming then you can leave us, also we will assume this as your resignation. Is this statement from management is right..? I being giving all my efforts, i have almost 22days leave pending, then to getting terminated for single day leave, is this right...? Please advice me... Thanks in Advance
