Breaking company bond where I have worked as intern for 1 month

Currently pursuing BE 8TH sem but I got placed in 'X' company which is mid range company and working from 1month and received my first stipend but unfortunately after signing a bond I received a offer from 'Y' company which pays me double of 'X' company so I taught of quitting by informing my HR for taking up the masters studies. But my HR is being strict and she is asking me to pay amount of 2lakh as compensation or to get a legal notice. Worked for just 1month and paying 2lakh is very very much high. So will they seriously take action by sending a legal notice?? Should I need yo compulsory pay the compensation? Please revert back?

You need not pay. The idea of bond is that they invested in you and taught you and gave to expertise. Clearly no such thing has happened.

Thank you so much mam. But will they send any legal notice to me? This may affect my career as I'm still a fresher
