After Resigning need to pay two month notice period and also a lary of two month

I am working in software development company and I am putting resign but I have a bond of ten months and I am breaking the bond by giving resign. our company have a policy that if we break a bond then e have to serve a notice period of two months including salary of that two month with GST. So I want to ask you that Is it a legal that employer can ask employee to serve a two month notice period with salary of two month?
