As per the facts stated above, if your Grandmother is no more then the flat belongs to your Mother as per your Grandmother's will. Please just ensure that all compliances that are required by the Housing Society are fulfilled.
For transferring the ownership of the flat from you grandmother’s name to your mother’s name, your mother shall have to submit a written application to the society. The application shall have to specify that pursuant to your late grandmother’s Will, the share certificates of the flat be transferred in your mother’s name. Along with the application, she shall have to attach a consent letter from your end (in the capacity of the nominee of the flat) and individual consent letter from all other legal heirs of your late grandmother, stating that you and the other legal heirs have no objection to the ownership of the flat being transferred to your mother and that you and the other legal heirs extend your consent towards the same. Further if the Society so requires, you may provide them with a copy of your grandmother’s Will.
